Returns & Refunds policy
This Returns & Refunds Policy governs all purchases made through the Dope Nerds online store at dopenerds.ai. It covers program sessions and packages, physical merchandise, and digital resources. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms of this policy. Dope Nerds Impact, Inc. dba Dope Nerds is a Maryland-registered business.
Because Dope Nerds sells distinct product types — program services, physical goods, and digital resources — each category is governed by specific terms below. Please read the section applicable to your purchase.
1. Program Sessions and Packages
Program sessions and packages are non-refundable. All cancellations are handled through credit and rescheduling only.
Dope Nerds Impact, Inc. dba Dope Nerds invests significant preparation, logistics, and facilitation resources into every program engagement. As a result, all program session and package purchases are non-refundable once payment is received.
If you need to cancel a scheduled session, Dope Nerds will issue a program credit equal to the full purchase amount, subject to the following conditions:
Credit requests must be submitted by email to hi@dopenerds.ai at least 72 hours before the scheduled session date
Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of original purchase
Credits may be applied toward a rescheduled session, a different program track of equal or lesser value, or a future program booking
Cancellations submitted less than 72 hours before a scheduled session may result in forfeiture of the session and credit at our sole discretion
Dope Nerds reserves the right to reschedule any session due to unforeseen operational circumstances. In such cases, the organization will be notified with reasonable advance notice and offered a replacement date at no additional cost.
Rescheduling
Each program booking includes one complimentary reschedule. Additional rescheduling requests may be accommodated at our discretion. A rescheduling fee of up to $150 may apply to cover logistics costs already incurred, depending on proximity to the scheduled date.
2. Merchandise (Apparel and Branded Gear)
You are entitled to return eligible merchandise within 30 days of the date you received the goods, without providing a reason, provided the conditions below are met.
Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return, merchandise must meet all of the following:
The item was purchased within the last 30 days
The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition
The item is in its original packaging with tags attached
Non-Returnable Items
The following merchandise is not eligible for return or exchange:
Items made to your specifications or clearly personalized
Items that by their nature cannot be returned (e.g. items that deteriorate rapidly or have an expiration date)
Items unsealed after delivery that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons
Items that have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery
Items purchased during a sale or promotional event (final sale)
Dope Nerds reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the above conditions at our sole discretion.
How to Return Merchandise
To initiate a return or exchange, email hi@dopenerds.ai with your order number, the item(s) you are returning, and the reason for the return. We will respond with return instructions within 3 business days.
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning goods to us. We recommend using an insured and trackable shipping service. Dope Nerds cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost during return shipment.

We will process your refund no later than 30 days from the day we receive the returned goods. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. You will not incur any fees for the reimbursement.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the returned item. Once the return is received and inspected, a gift certificate will be issued to you.
If the item was not marked as a gift at purchase, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves before giving it to you, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged item or an item that does not match your order, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hi@dopenerds.ai with your order number and a photo documenting the issue. We will replace the item or issue a full refund or credit at no cost to you.
3. Digital Downloads and Resources
All digital download and resource purchases are final and non-refundable due to the nature of digital goods. Once a digital product has been delivered or made accessible, no refund will be issued.
If you experience a technical issue preventing access to your download, contact hi@dopenerds.ai with your order number and a description of the issue. We will resolve the problem promptly at no additional cost.
4. Governing Law
This Returns & Refunds Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy shall be resolved in the courts of Maryland, and both parties consent to jurisdiction in that venue.
5. Changes to This Policy
Dope Nerds reserves the right to update this Returns & Refunds Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of dopenerds.ai or any purchase made after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
